Gamblers - No time
this week to run this class…sorry!
Here’s my “hard
luck” and “good luck” driver awards this week…The “hard-luck”
driver was our “good luck” driver from last week, Mike Galle.
Mike broke the rear-end of his truck and spun the drive shaft
right off during eliminations. This was one reason we could not
get the Gamblers class run as it took a lot of time to clean this
up. The “good luck” driver goes to Frank Panaro. Frank was
supposed to run two other drivers to decide on the fourth place
finish, but the other two drivers never showed up in time to run
off for this position, so Frank got it automatically. Good job
guys!
We are running a
big race on the 4th of July (Box and No-Box). Gates will open at
11:00 A.M. and we can run until 5:30 P.M... I will let you know at
a later date the fee to enter this race. The trophy is as tall as
I am (6 ft. 6 in.) but I did not get a picture of it yet. If I do,
I will post it in my next article. Have a safe week and I’ll see
you at the track.
