LIFE IS A DRAG

And we’re off!!
The sounds of power, squealing tires, burning rubber, and the
smell of VP was back in the air on Saturday, May 10th , starting
the 2008 drag racing season at Spencer Speedway.
Approximately 70
cars and 4 motorcycles showed up to participate on this first cool
evening of racing. A lot of driver’s don’t have their cars
ready yet and being that we have motorcycles returning this year,
I am hoping that more will show up as the weeks go on. We also are
having the Junior Dragster’s back this year, but had none show
up on the first night. I hope the word will get out that both
Junior Dragster’s and motorcycles will be participating this
year. The more participants in each class, the better the pay-out
at the end of the night, so bring it on.
