Spencer Hit By Third Rainout Of The Year by Gary Spaid

Unfortunately rains have been falling again! Again on Spencer Speedway! Heavy afternoon rains force NASCAR track officials to pull the plug on racing on Friday, July 17. This is the third time this year racing has been rained out at the speedway.

Specials for the evening were to have included the third appearance of the New York Super Stocks and Kids Bicycle Races. Both of these events are expected to be rescheduled at a future date.

The Race of Champions Modifieds will make their return to the fast half mile oval on Friday, July 24. They will be running a 75 lap feature event. Also racing will be the Super Sixes and Auto Value Scorpions. Race time starts at 7:30 p.m.

Anyone who brings their ticket stub back the following week gets a $3 discount off an adult or senior ticket.

Spencer Speedway is located just fifteen minutes east of Rochester, NY, along Route 104 in the Town of Williamson. Spencer Speedway is the local “ NASCAR Place to Race” for Central New York in 2015. Points earned each week at Spencer are counted into the national NASCAR Whelen All-American Points.
